CEU Computer Lab/Classroom Rules
Restrictions:
- No food or drink except in designated area.
- No children under the age of 15.
- No personal software (this includes games). We have the authority to confiscate all software.
- No behaving in a manner disruptive to other students.
- No abusing the equipment.
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE LAB/CLASSROOM FOR VIOLATING ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES.
Lab assistants are available to help; however, we request that you attempt the assignment on your own before asking for help – the best way to learn is trial and error. The lab assistants may not be familiar with your particular problem, or they have been asked not to help on specific assignments; therefore, if you have a problem, please be aware that you might be referred to your instructor for help. If this is the case, please write your question down and ask the instructor the following class day.
The lab is closed the first weekend of each semester and on holidays unless otherwise posted.

Computer Access / Student E-mail
You will have to log on with your username and password to access the CEU Domain, Computer Lab, and classroom computers.
Window’s Log On:
At the Window’s prompt, type in your username.Your Username is:
- First five letters of your last name
- Last two numbers of your social security number
- First initial of your first name
- Type the word password
- You will then be prompted to change your password
- Your new password must be at least 8 characters
- Make sure the domain says CEU.
- Click OK.
Computer Log Off:
On the desktop, click Start, Log Off, and Log Off (Are you sure you want to log off?) Yes.
Print Allowance:
Your computer class lab fee includes a print allowance. This is to be used for your class work. If you print anything other than your computer class work, you will run out of print allowance and will be required to purchase more.
If you are not in a computer class, you will have to pre-pay for your printing.
- Black & White - $.05 per sheet
- Color - $.10 per sheet
Student E-Mail:
All CEU students have a student e-mail account.- www.ceu.edu
- CEU Outlook Web Access
- First five letters of your last name
- Last two numbers of your social security number
- First initial of your first name
- To set up your password, you will have to log on to a computer on the CEU domain and follow the above Window’s Log On instructions.
You can now use the username and password that you set up to access your student e-mail account from on and off campus.
Your student email address is: username@ceu.edu
All student email accounts are removed at the end of each semester. If you would like to retain your account, please contact the computer lab at Reeves 214 or call 613-4357
